I've spent 3+ years building production web apps for real clients, led frontend at AfriTransfer, and got my hands dirty with both code and infrastructure at CWG PLC. I've also taught a cohort of junior developers how to stop fearing the terminal, a BIG W for me.

Working closely with designers, I ensure each component not only looks great but also feels intuitive. I bring Figma files to life while keeping accessibility and responsiveness top of mind.

With the blueprint in place, I start developing, writing clean, maintainable code using modern frameworks like React and Next.js. I focus on performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.

Connect the Dots
Integrating with APIs and backend services is where the app comes to life. I handle data fetching, manage app state, and ensure everything works smoothly across the stack.

Test & Refine
Quality matters. I write tests, squash bugs, and polish the experience through continuous iteration. Tools like Jest, ESLint, and Cypress help keep the codebase reliable and future-proof.

Launch & Learn
Once deployed (often via Vercel or Netlify), I monitor, gather feedback, and make iterative improvements. Post-launch, I stay focused on optimizing performance, SEO, and user satisfaction.

Your questions, answered
01What's your tech stack?
Mostly TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Astro on the frontend, with Tailwind CSS for styling. On the backend I reach for Node, Express, Python, and whatever database fits the job (PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase). I also dabble in machine learning when a project calls for it.
02Are you available for freelance work?
Yes, I take on a handful of freelance and contract projects alongside full-time work. If it's a good fit, I'm in.
03Do you work with startups and small teams?
Absolutely, some of my favourite projects have been for small teams and solo founders who needed someone to own the frontend end-to-end.
04Can you work with my existing designs?
Yes. Send over your Figma files (or sketches on a napkin, I've seen worse) and I'll bring them to life, pixel by pixel.
05How do you handle project pricing?
Depends on scope: flat rate for well-defined projects, hourly for open-ended ones. I'll always give you a clear estimate before we start.
